Governor's Mansion Goes Up in Flames

While most of us were sleeping, the pre-Civil War Texas Governor's Mansion was destroyed by fire. No one was hurt. The Governor has been living in a rental home as the Mansion undergoes a massive renovation. In fact, the renovation was happening due in part to the Mansion never having a fire protection system.

Here's some KVUE video of the flames.

Text Message to Me, 3:44am: Just drove by the Governor's Mansion. It is on fire. Seriously.
