| Video: Carole Keeton Strayhorn on Running for Austin Mayor »
How did I forget to post this? We stopped by Carole Keeton Strayhorn's house last week to talk to her about her son Scott McClellan's book, and subsequently got a tour of the house. (Did you know CKS is an excellent artist who enjoys drawing people's faces? I know now.) She gave me the non-answer answer when I asked her about running for Mayor of Austin, again. She served in this post about three decades ago. I'll get that video up later today. Stay tuned. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

There's too much politics in Texas to fit into a newscast, so the fun continues here.

(not related to CKS, but just heard your report on KVUE): We got a push poll at our house by Morrison's campaign a few weeks before the main election; nobody's apparently reported on that (a bunch of stuff like "are you AWARE Cid Galindo voted in the Republican primary?" - my wife fielded the call).
So it's not just Galindo's campaign or supporters; Morrison and/or BATPAC did it too.
