8,690 Loud and Proud

Barack Obama won the Wyoming caucuses tonight by a 61% to 38% margin. Turnout busted all records... with an unofficial total of 8,690 votes cast today.

I guess it's because Texas is so large and populous that I keep snickering when I watch reporters in Wyoming speak breathlessly about the massive turnout. I mean, 8,690. That's roughly the size of two healthy Harris County caucuses. Or the number of walking across one intersection in Shanghai right now.

But it's all relative. Props to Wyoming Democrats for taking part in the process.
