Whew. The embargo of our KVUE presidential primary poll is finally over. Bottom line? The Texas Democratic Primary race is a toss-up. (And definitely no telling how the caucuses will go.) Clinton leads Obama in this poll 46% to 43%, within the 4% margin of error. Austin-based Public Strategies is performing this daily tracking poll for all four Belo Texas stations, and started polling Sunday night (during the Oscars). Watch the video here.
Question: What is the single most important policy issue in your vote for a Democratic nominee?
***Here's the full 17 page poll write-up and the crosstabs.*** ISSUES: REPUBLICANS: Again, A LOT MORE is in the link. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

It is kind of messed up that Belo would hire PSI to do its polling. PSI is anything but objective. Don't they represent AT&T and a ton of other huge companies...including defense contractors?
I don't dispute the credibility of the polling, just Belo's judgement.
Keep up the good work though, Elise. When you have your own network you can hire an impartial pollster.
