Texas In Play...
"It should be a lot of fun campaigning there. Lots of Mexican food, and good times." --Hillary Clinton, on coming to Texas.
Man, I don't think she could have said that any better. I've been freebasing enchiladas since I moved here at age 14. Good times.
Now that Texas is in play in the presidential contest on the Democratic side, what does it mean for downballot races? If we see a wider-than-usual electorate and a bigger-than-usual turnout, who does that help and hurt in state house races, DA races, etc? Anyone have any answers on this one?

Guero's was all the rage when Bill Clinton would visit Austin as president. Will Hillary find a new place to hang, and is Obama going to find himself an Austin haunt? This is the kind of stuff we're expecting you to find out and report on, Elise!
