    Austin's Superbowl Appearance

The Obama campaign shelled out the untold million(s) to buy Superbowl ad time in the 24 states voting on Super Fat Tuesday. Obviously, those of us in Texas markets didn't see the ad, but the city of Austin and its Obama supporters did get a role in the commercial itself.

Check out the first few shots below. The shot of Obama working the crowd and then the Austin skyline were from the February rally on Auditorium shores where 22,000 showed up.

UPDATE: The AP reports the actual voiceover of Obama in the commercial is also from the Austin rally in February.

BTW, I guess we know what former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is up to lately. He and Democratic pundit James Carville just starred in a Superbowl ad together for Coke.
