Watch Partying
Tonight's caucus has the hype of that one Dallas Cowboys-Green Bay Packers game that could only be seen on NFL Network. It's fitting then, that those who play and watch politics like it's a sport are getting together all over the country to watch caucus coverage together.
In Austin, Democracy for Texas and Texans for Obama are getting together at Scholz's Garten at 6:30pm to await the returns. I think the campaign is encouraging RSVP's, so you can do that here.
The Texas Republican Party spokesman, Hans Klingler, says there won't be party-organized watch parties in Austin, but there could be one for New Hampshire or Super-Duper-Gigantic-Abracadabra-Omigosh-Economy-Sized-Value-Pack Tuesday on February 5th.
