Obama is Rocky to Clinton's Ivan Drago, Says Prof

Remember this scene from Rocky IV? Maybe not. (I didn't.) This is a significant scene, from which we can draw an important analogy to this year's presidential race, according to St. Edwards University political scientist Brian W. Smith:

In Rocky IV, the Russian Ivan Drago is seen as unbeatable, but Rocky cuts him showing that he is a man just like Rocky. The same thing is true in the classic 1980's movie "Predator", when Arnold wounds the predator and says "if it bleeds, we can kill it".

For the Obama camp, they have to look at HRC this way. They beat her in Iowa, which means that she is not invulnerable. Obama cut Hillary Clinton last night. It proved that a state that is the antithesis of diversity could vote for an African American. Moreover, she had never lost an election to this point. For the Clinton campaign, however, they have the resources to weather a few defeats and hold on until February 5th.
