New Blog on the Block
The brotherhood of mainstream media blogs has welcomed a new member, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's "PoliTex"*, which went up sometime last weekend.
The Startlegram's Austin triumvirate of Dyer, Root and Moritz will contribute to PoliTex, as will the paper's political reporters in Fort Worth and Washington. Jay Root's been all about writing and editing video stories lately, which makes me slightly concerned about my job security. But you'll find those videos linked from the blog.
*Coincidentally, we strongly considered naming this blog "PoliTex", but one of the managers thought it sounded too much like an industrial cleaning agent. And "PoliTex" happened to be the name of my now-defunct Fantasy Congress team.
