Hi everyone. Some big updates to pass along. Peter is now 8.5 months and he took his first 2 steps on Tuesday. Wow! He is getting so big -- I can hear all of those voices telling me "cherish these moments because they'll fly by" ... we'll that advice is ringing true. I've always spent my life looking forward to the next step -- the next season. Now, I can't help but look back. I was at the park today with Peter and I kept thinking about how the little things in life are some of the most important moments to remember. I read a quote the other day and it made me think of motherhood and I have to share it.... "we will be born and we will die ...but the moments in between really shine light on the quality of life". Isn't that great? Being a mom has really made me realize that I can't take anything for granted. Every moment is so precious.. and when I see my little boy smile -- I know I'm doing something right!!
