« Greek Food Festival | Main | Doubletree Riverside » Dunkley MusicJune 01, 2006National Cancer Survivors Day is this Sunday June 4, 2006. A free concert will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church at 4:00 pm to commemorate the day. The Church is located in East Boise at 4601 S. Surprise Way. The concert will feature musician from all over the valley and a free will offering will be asked with the money collected being donated to Cancer Survivors in this area. We spent the morning at Dunkley Music for a sneak preview of the upcoming show. Everyone is welcome to attend and the funds for the Cancer Survivors go to the Nalen Fund for emergency needs like food, daycare, or rent. Many cancer patients have to quit work while undergoing treatment and these funds help make ends meet for them. You can get more information about Cancer Survivors Day by calling 353-6135 or check out the website. Posted by Larry Gebert at June 1, 2006 10:10 AM © KTVB TV |
