Water Safety

Spring and summer season is when we spend more time out and near water than any other time of the year. We spent the morning at a private residence on the Boise Bench to discuss water safety with experts from St. Lukes Regional Medical Center. Each of the experts discussed the importance of teaching our children to be safe around water. We also saw the latest products available to help protect and prevent accidental drowning. Swimming pools and Hot tubs are just one problem area. There’s a greater danger from irrigation canals and rivers. Children are naturally attracted to water and it only takes a matter of just a few minutes to have a tragic accident. Now is the time to think safety.
