Expo Idaho Fairgrounds

Kids Safety Day will be this Saturday June 3rd at Expo Idaho, formerly known as the Western Idaho Fairgrounds. The event sponsored by Ada County is filled with activities and exhibits designed for children, especially those who are 12 and under. There will be free immunizations for those who need shots. You should bring your records with you and your child. Car seats will be inspected for safety and placement. If need be car seats can be replaced for free, depending upon qualification. The entire event is free to everyone and there will also be free drawings for new bicycles. “McGruff the Crime Dog” and “Bobby the Boat” will also be around to help teach safety lessons. The event will start at 10:00 am and will end at 4:00 pm.
