The St. Alphonsus Children’s Classic Race is set for Saturday June 3rd. Children age 6-14 years are invited to a special race down capital boulevard on that Saturday morning to raise money for children’s services at the hospital. It’s a children helping children type of fundraiser. Entry fee for the event is $15 dollars per child. The race starts at the Boise Depot and will end at the State Capitol building where a celebration will take place. More than 1,100 children are expected to take part in the annual event and you must register ahead of time. There will NOT be any registration on the day of the race. In fact the deadline to sign-up is Friday May 26th. To reserve a spot you can call 367-2759 or go on-line to register.
