« Eagle Flooding | Main | Franz Witte » Tar WarsApril 17, 2006“Tar Wars” is a poster art contest for 4th and 5th grade students from across Idaho. Medical professionals through out the state to go various schools and give information to children about the dangers of tobacco products and encourage them to never experiment with any tobacco products. The students are then encouraged to develop posters that show the positive aspects of remaining tobacco free. Contests for the best posters are held at the school level and the winners were judged today for the best in the state and that entry will be sent to Washington D.C. to compete at the National level. The contest is presented by the Idaho Academy of Family Physicians. We spent the morning at St. Lukes, Meridian while a panel of qualified experts judged the entries.
