Lions Club of Eagle

The Lion’s club of Eagle is collecting donations for prevention and cure of “River Blindness”. The disease is very treatable but those who are afflicted with it don’t have any way to pay for the treatment. River Blindness is caused a fly lands on a person’s face and lays an egg at the corner of their eye. The egg becomes a larva and causes blindness. Third world countries have the highest rate of the problem. This Saturday April 22nd the Lion’s club of Eagle will be at the Albertsons store in Eagle from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. You can make a donation of any size and 100% of the amount you give will go toward the prevention and cure. Albertsons jump-started the fund collection this morning with a check for $1,000.
