“Children are our Flowers” is an annual fundraising event for the LCS program. LCS provides an after school program for children called S.T.A.A.R. The program teaches the students about the dangers of drugs and gangs in a positive way and helps guide them from ever getting involved. This weekend, April 21-23 we can help by buying flowers, plants and shrubs from the participating nurseries and florists. A portion of this weekend’s sales goes directly to the LCS program. Look for the poster to make sure you are at a participating business. The green houses are Edwards Greenhouse, Franz Witte, D.G. Nursery, Summer Lawns, Far West, D&B Supply, Horseshoe Nursery, Canyon Lake Gardens, Cloverdale Nursery, Gem Butte Greenhouse, and Greenhurst Nursery. The Floral shops are Carpenters Florists and House of Floral.
