Eagle Flooding

April 14, 2006

Flooding is still an issue along the Boise River. The level of the river is at flood stage and subdivisions on Eagle Island had problems last night. Volunteers along with firefighters, sheriff’s officers and emergency management personal reinforced the banks of the river. The forecast calls for more rain through the Easter weekend and temperatures will be warm today and tomorrow. A cooling trend into next week will help. We spent the morning with Eagle Mayor Nancy Merrill who continues to work with other officials through the valley monitoring the river and protecting private property.
