« Safety Officer's Ball | Main | Idaho Horse Park » Idaho Gastroenterology CenterMarch 29, 2006March is National Colon and Rectal Cancer Awareness Month. We spent the morning with a group of physicians from the Idaho Gastroenterology Center discussing colon cancer and how it can be detected, treated and possibly prevented. Individuals over the age of 50 should be screen for polyps and early signs of cancer. If you have a history of cancer in your family then earlier screening would be advised. Simple things like diet and exercise can also lessen your chances of ever contracting cancer. Posted by Larry Gebert at March 29, 2006 11:32 AM © KTVB TV |
