All I can say is, with the democrats taking control of the senate and the house, I hope that our government works in favor of our own safety and not just partison politics. We cannot turn tail and run from a fight. If that happens, we will be the laughing stock and bigger target of the muslim world. Please make your political choices in favor of protecting our own people above protecting our enemy like the left wing seems so revered to do.

I wanted to say that whoever wins must place the needs of the people first. In this day and age with everything being commercialized and power and fame ranks high in the list of things, I hope our leaders make good decisions and put our nation's best interest first. That's why they are voted for. I strongly believe that a good leader is one that serves the needs of those that follow.

In a way I am disappointed, but not suprised, the republicans have had at it coming for a while now, but I hate the thought of Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the house, she is way too far left for my taste. I am also disappointed to see Maria Cantwell retain her seat, she has done absolutely nothing for this state.

Well My 401k growing at a rapid rate to help my retirement. No terrorist attacks since 9/11. People have jobs. I am safe and making money and I am middle class. It does not make sense. No one likes war but this is a religious conflict world wide. It really did not matter where we chose to fight it. It is not about Iraq even though that evidently decided this election to my astonishment. Just remember even when we are out of Iraq this war will continue because people hate us. My Thanks to those who have kept our soil safe to live in peace and God help those of you who may make decisions that will endanger our safety on our soil. I hope the new leadership does not actually believe what they have been saying or we are in trouble. My guess is they know what is happening and it was just politics. Because nobody can be that blind. The world is in turmoil and America was safe. Those of you in power now better keep it that way. God Bless the USA

I too am disappointed, but the Republican Party did this to them selves. I could live with the election results here in this state, but not the re-election of Maria Cantwell. She has not done much for this state except push the party line. I think we should have a referendum to get rid of political officials for failure to perform according to the will of the people. We need to hold all accountable and their feet to the fire. It will now be up to us to track which politicians and party are willing to represent the will of the people and our National Security, if they do not then we should ensure they do not remain in office or get the opportunity to get in the White House. I further believe that Nancy Pelosi will try to ram her and some of her other liberal comrades far left views down our throats. This we must not allow. I think that most here in Washington do not want our state or country to become a screwed up as hers. Maybe that is why so many are leaving.
Recently, I left the Democratic Party due their failure to provide a plan to protect this county and not wanting to tackle immigration reform. Both parties actually failed in this but at least the Republicans wanted to do something. Both continue to not follow the will of the people. I blame the both parties for failures in Iraq due to so much political involvement just like what we had in Vietnam. This has led to many casualties and wounded. Let the military leaders do their job. Remember, you fight a war to win! If we fought WWII like this then we might be speaking German. If we don’t fight to win then we all may be forced to convert to Islam.
Time will tell what will happen to this country. If drastic changes are not made concerning Illegal Immigration reform and National Security then, God help us! We will need to start developing emergency plans, stocking food, and buying bullets.

I am actually scared that Otter got back into office, I have e-mailed him numerous times over the past year to get his support on stem cell, He never once answered, and when I called his election headquarters . his answering personel told me he said it is a federal issue not a stae one, then when i got so upset she returned myccall and otter told her to tell me he will figure something out for my tax dollar.
