Promoter John Peck says every Kentucky county fair his Top Dog Promotions is working with wants the mowers. Peck tells says The Kentucky Enquirer his demo derbies usually have 35-50 mowers. One Kenton Court Fair official says the mower derbies are very funny. For safety's sake, the drivers are enclosed in a roll cage and the mowers don't have any cutting blades. There's no mulching, but plenty of crunching.
