A zoo in northern China reports a dog has adopted two little red panda cubs that had been abandoned by their mother. According to the official Chinese news agency (Xinhua), the farm dog is treating the little pandas like her own pups. Red pandas look more like raccoons then the more familiar black-and-white giant pandas. Experts estimate there are only about 2,500 adult red pandas in the world.
