MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- A new survey sheds light on prospects for the smart phone business. Don't own a smart phone? In the survey, of adults who don't own one, nearly half said they're too confused about the models and features. Thirty-nine percent said they don't have one because they hate shopping for electronics products. Sixty-four percent said the devices cost too much. Among smart phone owners, the most important features were getting information from the Internet, sending messages and taking digital photos. The survey of 1,000 people was conducted May 29-31 by GfK Roper, and commissioned by Best Buy Mobile. |
