First Civilizations is hosting a job fair on Wednesday, September 9th at the Omega Center at 3900 Goodfellow in Saint Louis. It's billed as a "Diversity Professional" job fair. Ira Jones, founder of the popular internet site known as First Civilizations, wants you to be there to meet representatives from companies that are hiring.
Here's a list of the companies recruiting:
Allstate Insurance
Brown Shoe
Charter Communications
Cintas
Express Scripts
Federal Reserve Bank
Internal Revenue Service
Lumiere Place Hotels & Casinos

Mrs Newton I think this is a really good thing your doing for St.Louis, cause right now there are so many of us looking for jobs right now, and this is something St.louis really need to get back on there feet. There are so many of us that are out of work, that need that extra help to keep going, because it's so many that can't take the presure and they just take there own lives, and that is very sad. I feel most of these job fairs need to cater to all people not just people with a degree, cause we all need the opportunity to be able to go to a job fair. But I just hope you keep it up and I am glad to know that it is someone out here that do care about the people of St.Louis, and I feel this is really a great project you put together.

Mrs. Vickie Newton, thank you for your energy and heart lead desire to aid in employing and/or giving as many unemployed people opportunities by way of media advertisement by way of your interviews. I am an interviewee and yes, after todays showing of my interview I received one call because he seen me on kmov channel 4 news and down loaded my resume. I do not know what will come of this, but I remain opptomistic at every cost. Thank you and may you be rewarded for your efforts.
Thanks for the job fair information. It's sad they only let people in that had a Bachelor's Degree. I only have an Associates Degree so I was turned away. Hopefully the next one will be for everyone that is out of work.
