And Mr. Burris' expectations were fulfilled. When he arrived in the nation's capitol to be sworn in with incoming senators, he was not welcomed. A week from today I will be in Washington, D.C., writing a blog about the inauguration of the nation's 44th President, Barack Obama. It is going to be an exciting time in our nation's capitol. Hotel rooms have been sold out for weeks now, flights into Washington are so hard to come by my friend and her boyfriend are flying into Philadelphia then driving to Washington, and the buses transporting well-wishers from all around the country... |
