Some new numbers from the Centers for Disease Control are frightening. The CDC says 86 children have died from H1N1 in the United States. Half of those deaths came in September and early October alone. It would appear the H1N1 flu outbreak is only going to get worse. We were at Blue Fish Pediatrics in Des Peres today talking with Dr. Gregory Finn. We were asking him what concerns he heard from the parents. He said some parents ask him how serious it really is. They look at him and say, "The media are blowing this out of proportion, right?" He says tells them, no, they are not. |
