The St. Louis County Health Department says since H1N1 flu is already here, and targeting a younger population than seasonal flu, once kids get back in school and start passing it around.... the flu season will begin earlier than usual. Then, a couple months later, seasonal flu will kick in. The most vulnerable for that flu are the elderly. So health officials are looking at two priorities. For H1N1, perfecting the best way to vaccinate the population quickly. (That vaccine is in clinical trials at the moment.) For seasonal flu, getting the word out that people should get that flu shot.
