| Smoke-free law may be meaningless in St. Louis »
If you listen closely to the neighbors and fire fighters, you quickly learn why One neighbor near the scene, in the 19 hundred block of Wood Ridge Lane, in the Kensington Square Apartment complex, says that she had a flash light, which other men used, but it was not enough, to even locate the door, to enter, to attempt a rescue. One mother of 3 says the flames were so intense, that she and her husband could not escape, with their children, through their front door. So they quickly got out, using their back patio sliding doors And fire fighters say the flames were too high, the temperatures to hot, and the smoke too thick, for them, or anyone else, to find either woman.
