I can't believe it's been 8 months, I remember covering the accident like it was yesterday. St. Charles police officer Grant Jansen died during the early morning hours of September 10th when he lost control of his police crusier on the way home from his shift. Today we sat down and spoke with Jansen's wife, who is now raising the couples three children on her own. This would be a difficult situation for any family, but Annette Jansen was just 6 weeks pregnant with her third child when her husband died in the crash. Tonight you will hear from her about the past 8 months, and what it was like to go through a pregnancy knowing that child will never meet his father. Annette is a former dispatcher for St. Charles police, a position she resigned last year in order to raise her three children.
