A Chinese delegation is in St. Louis tonight made up of government, business and community leaders. They're here because they're checking out the area. This is not the first trip for this group. Members of the Chinese delegation and the Midwest China Hub Commission have been back and forth five times.

The idea is to take advantage of St. Louis' central location in the United States. We've got the interstates, railroads, rivers and airports. We could be the ideal distribution point for Chinese goods coming into the US and a great place for goods from around the midwest to be funneled through on their way to China. It could be a win-win situation. China has an emerging middle class with money to spend. St. Louis and the midwest could tap into that market.
