In July St. Louis will play host to the All Star Game, and that means there's lots of work being done to prepare for thousands of out of town visitors. City street crews are paving streets around Busch stadium, they are also resurfacing some of the busier streets downtown. It's all work that needs to be done anyway, but the city wants to make sure downtown is in tip top shape by mid July. Businesses are also preparing for the influx of visitors - especially the Hyatt Regency (former Adams Mark). Today the manager gave us a behind the scenes tour of the 63 million dollar renovation that will be completed just in time for the game. Tonight at 10 we will show you what's being done inside the hotel, and outside on the street to make sure St. Louis shines this summer. Also, if you see something in downtown St. Louis that just doesn't look right YOU CAN HELP!!! Call the downtown parternship at 314 436 6500 to report eyesores that need attention. |
