A couple business owners in Crystal City are waiting to get back into their shops. They've been out since March 19th. That's when a fire destroyed the Jade Garden Restaurant next door. The hair salon and copy center in the same row of businesses suffered some damage as well.

The problem now is there is still some of the burned-up debris sitting on the foundation of what was once the restaurant. The businesses have been repairing the damage they suffered but the renovations aren't complete and their equipment is still not in their shops.

We called the company that was hired to tear down and clean up the burned-up restaurant. A spokesperson says the company did what it was contracted to do. There's a cinderblock firewall that still needs to come down but it must be done by hand. That's an additional job. The owner of the restaurant is in Oklahoma City. They've tried to reach him several times but they say he hasn't responded.

In the meantime, the business owners are frustrated. They want to get back into their shops.
