A family is grieving because a 14-year-old was gunned down in cold-blood. The family is asking anyone who knows anything to come forward and talk with investigators. The victim is 14-year-old Michael Goulbourne. He was an 8th grader at Normandy Middle School. The family says he was a good kid. He wanted to go into business like his dad. He was helping his father close up the family's barbecue stand when two guys got out of a blue Pontiac, late 80's or early 90's model, robbed them and then opened fire. As Goulbourne's cousin said, they had the money, there was no reason for the gunmen to start shooting. It was a waste of a young life. A young man that everyone we talked with today said was a "good kid." He was smart. He was going to make something of himself. He was a hard worker. And now a couple guys who wanted some easy money have ended his dreams and started his family down a path of incredible grief. Police say if you know anything about the murder they'd like to hear from you.
