President Obama held his town hall meeting today at Fox School in Arnold. It wasn't a lengthy visit but it was exciting for the school. He had a prepared speech and then took questions from the audience. He joked they would go boy/girl boy/girl.... and he did.
He picked people at random, not knowing their questions. None was particularly pointed or confrontational and he gave pretty standard answers. Not "bad" answers, just familiar ones given most of the topics were familiar.... social security, the environment, pension plans in the auto industry, etc. He was very relaxed and jovial during the Q and A.
One thing I didn't know, is that there are Marine One decoys. When it was time for him to leave Fox, one Presidential helicopter took off.... then another one and another one and another one. Another security measure so potential assasins won't know which one he is in.
