Have you ever been the victim of a computer hacker? I have. It's incredibly frustrating. I sit there and curse the unknown person who put me through the hassle.
You're probably like me and you get emails all the time from family and friends warning you about a worm or a virus. Now we've got another one coming down the pike. It's the "Conficker" worm. A computer expert we spoke with says this is raising some red flags because it's sophisticated and it's tough to stop.
It's supposed to strike on April 1st. As I write this it's just before 10pm on March 30th so you've got a litle bit of time to head this off if you have it in your computer. If you're a victim the worm will allow some unknown computer user control your computer. Scary thought these days when we have so much info on our computers.
Check out kmov.com for the steps you can take to protect yourself. But know this---even if April 1st comes and goes and you think you're safe, you may not be. the experts say It could lie dormant in your system and strike later.
Be proactive...knock the thing out before it knocks you out.

Okay, so where are the steps to protect my computer that you refer to.
where is the information so we can check if our computer has the worm? I thought on the news last night you said to go to the website to get more information.
