It's 9:25, I have new information about a fire at Dial Corporation on the city's north side. According to a St. Louis firefighter there's a fire inside of a giant dryer. The dryer is actually six stories tall, it's used to pull the moisture out of laundry detergent, which creates a powder. Firefighters are blasting the building with water, HAZMAT is also on scene to make sure there are no hazardous chemicals involved. From my vantage point on North Broadway (near Calvary Cemetary) the situation seems to be improving. The thick smoke that we could see when we first arrived has disappeared - look for a live update tonight at ten.
