The Riverview Gardens School District will lay off nearly one hundred teachers.
Teachers will find out on Thursday who will stay and who will go.
According to the district the cuts are necessary because enrollment has dropped more than 20 percent over the last three years. The cuts will mean bigger class sizes across the district.
