"Traffic times on Brentwood have more than doubled," said Tom Blair MODOT Engineer on Monday. Since the Hanley overpass demolition drivers in that area have flocked to Brentwood Blvd as an escape route. However MODOT is warning drivers to stay away from the area if you want to get home at a reasonable hour. So my photographer and I took a look for ourselves to see just how jammed this popular street has become. We started traveling south on Brentwood just passed Clayton. We noticed heavy traffic, but the traffic was not heavy enough to delay us from getting to our destination on time. It is currently 2:41 on a Monday afternoon. Mind you, we haven't seen what this street will look like at rush hour;however, we will be doing a live shot at five, and I will be shooting video from our flip camera and posting on the website.
