Hopefully, you found this blog because you were looking for the information on how to make a donation to the Manning family. On New Year's Day a fire in Victoria, Missouri, took the lives of James Manning and two of his children, 11-year-old Austin & 7-year-old Caralyn.

But one thing we can count on in the St. Louis area is that people will open their hearts and open their wallets. Donations are already coming in to the Dairy Queen in DeSoto where the couple's older son works. Neighbors in Victoria have also set up bank accounts to receive donations.

Deena Manning is still in the hospital (as of 9:00 pm on 1/4/09 she is in "serious" condition). Their son Brent is going to school and, I'm told, is quite a talented artist and is studying computer animation. His dream? He wants to one day work for the Disney corporation in animation.

The family lost everything in the fire. A mother and her son now need a lot to rebuild their lives.

FYI not everyone has a computer or even knows what a blog is, so please let the public know which bank to make a donation to. You are doing a huge diservice to the family by not saying the banks name on the air.
