| Belleville chief to fire police officer in Taser, excessive force cases »
I'm in the senate chambers, watching the deliberations. So far, several senators have spoken and all are saying they're going to vote to remove the governor from office. It's a little after 3pm and from our vantage point: photojournalist Bill McCormac and I can see 15 senators who've indicated that they would like to speak. (There are buttons the senators can push at their desks to indicate they wish to speak and the buttons flash as they wait). If each takes the full five minutes they're allotted to speak, we are looking at another hour and 15 minutes of testimony. Just a rough estimate and this will give you an idea of how things are progressing. |
