This morning News 4 is still following a disturbing incident in Jefferson County. Investigators with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office are still searching for a HOME INVASION SUSPECT that say pretended to be a "CABLE MAN" when he knocked on the door of a woman's apartment in Imperial, Missouri around noon Wednesday.
We're told after the woman opened her door, the man forced his way inside, knocked her down and attempted to sexually assault her, but the woman's german shepard jumped on the man and then attacked him.
Fortunately, the woman got away. Investigators say the intruder may now have bite marks on his neck and shoulder. Right now, detectives only have a vague description of the attacker. You can find those details on our website, KMOV.COM right now.
The bottom line for investigators; ANYONE WITH INFORMATION SHOULD CALL CRIMESTOPPERS AT 10866-371-TIPS OR 1-866-371-8477. YOU CAN ALSO CALL THE JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AT (636) 797-5000 AND REMEMBER YOU CAN REMAIN ANONYMOUS.
