This is really an interesting story to work on. It was surprising to me that there were sitings of black bears in eastern Missouri over the last few years. Wildlife experts tell me these animals are usually 90% vegetarians, which may come as a surprise.
Right now the theories on these attacks on the dogs seem to be on a black bear, bobcat, or another dog. Residents there claim there is no stray dog attacking. And they have spotted a bobcat in the area. Let's hope their pets stay safe.
