The day before Super Tuesday, the campaign workers for the leading Democratic candidates are feeling the pinch. (The Republican candidates, although they have visited here and have supporters here, don't have headquarters yet in St. Louis.) Workers for Hillary Clinton want to make sure voters know she's doing a live Town Hall Meeting broadcast on the Hallmark Channel (and the internet) at 8pm tonight. Obama supporters want to make sure everyone knows where his or her polling place is, and to shout out if they need a ride. Election officials say turnout could reach an all time high for a Presidential primary in Missouri. You know what they say.... if you don't vote, you can't complain! |
