It is a new face for a well known part of St. Louis city.The. Gateway Mall,open air space,which stretches along Market Street. It was originally conceived in the 1900's.. The land west of Tucker was cleared in the 1900s. But Kiener Plaza constructions did not begin until the 1980's..Now this is the first major master comrehensive plan we have seen for that area in 25 years.
