The way his fellow students and his teacher saved Jason Batty at S.I.U.E. shows how important it is for all of us to know about the portable defibrillators or AED's that are now in many public places, including schools and in the workplace.
It helps to take notice where they are and how they work, although the instructions on them are very clear and I was told it was easy to operate even for people who hadn't trained with them.

I agree with that as will as what to do in any emergency. Do you know that the St. Charles CERT will be having a daster drill this Saturday? Does any one know what to do when you have a lot of people hurt and the fire depatment can not get there?
