So many times we hear about people being at the wrong place at the wrong time; however, on Saturday October 20, 2007 an off duty officer from California was at the right place at the right time. According to police in Bellville, Carlsbad Officer Matt Lowe stopped a man from stabbing a woman to death. Investigators say Lowe was in town for a wedding, and while on his way to the celebration he saw the crime and he got involved. This story is a true example of you never know who's watching your back.
