The Superdelegate

10:16 PM Fri, May 09, 2008 |

Maria Chappell Nadal probably doesn't fit anyone's idea of a superdelegate. But she is now in her fourth year as a Missouri State Representative from University City.
She admits that she doesn't answer about 80 precent of her phone calls these days, and it took me alot of effort just to make contact with her and then get her to talk about being a superdelegate (she says she's only done two TV interviews). And despite all ...

Jefferson County Murder Mystery

4:34 PM Fri, May 09, 2008 |

I've covered the murder investigations into Randy Greenman and George Whitter's death from the beginning. So, today I met back up with the investigators to see where they were in this case. We found out a number of things, like that the detectives have identified persons of interest and believe they have something to do with organized crime. Lt. Operation Shower

9:56 PM Wed, May 07, 2008 |

Lena Morrissey got started in March of '07 with an idea to help military moms to be with a "shower in a box."
It's an idea that has grown to the point where she is now helping these new moms at bases all over the country.
This weekend she's sending out 100 boxes filled with items donated by Walmart, but she depends on donations from all corners to keep her effort going.
It's amazing how organzied she is ...

Cougar in Franklin County?

10:47 PM Wed, Apr 30, 2008 |

Is there a cougar roaming in Franklin County? Some people are convinced of it and I spoke with some of them. In fact this latest siting about a week and a half ago in Robertsville now has some wondering if a cougar is to blame for the attacks on dogs that many believed was done by a black bear.
I know some people have set up "game cams" in their yards hoping to catch a look at a big cat, but so far it doesn't seem to...

Cold Case Arrest

10:47 PM Thu, Apr 24, 2008 |

After 38 years a South St. Louis man is now facing charges in a double murder from 1970. It's interesting to mention that Theodore Kleine did go in trial for the murders of Alan Brian Bradford and Mary Seutter but the case ended in a hung jury; the vote to covict was 13-2. No one is quite sure why the case was never retried. But I'm told all the witnesses are still alive and so the prosecuting attorney in Dunklin County, in the booth...
