I am very sad that you are being removed from the anchor desk. If it is because of the ratings not being high enough I hope the station has a DROP in rating when you are gone. You have been the one familiar face on Channel 4 morning show for so long. How can they justify removing you and leaving the rest of the morning crew???!!! How sad. Sorry to see you go. ( I am glad you will still be seen on the evening news. I WILL BE WATCHING FOR YOU).

I can't believe you are leaving, first Paul, now you. I loved watching you and Virginia in the mornings!! I wish you well, but the news won't be the same. I guess I will start listening to the radio in the morning instead of turning the T.V. on.

Mark, You will definitely be missed...the glue that holds the morning show together. I don't always get home in time to see the 5 and 6 news, but I always get up early, so watching the AM show is where I primarily get my news. I hope this was at your request...

Thanks for all of the great years. Our first daughter was premature 9 years ago and only lived a month. I would wake up, turn on you, Kristy, and Cory, and have some great laughs that really helped me get out of bed. Since then, you,Virginia, Matt, and Paul have given the kids and I loads of fun as we get ready for school. So glad we'll see you in the evening. Hope you have extra times with your kids and have a blast yourself!!

I will miss your last half hour at the newsdesk tomorrow morning due to job. But I wanted to say once again how much you will be missed in the morning.

After watching you for the past 10 years, I feel like I am losing a friend. Good luck to you. I hope you are allowed to return as the morning anchor -- if not at KMOV, somewhere else.

My husband and I always fight in the morning over who to watch: News 4 or his favorite, Jennifer and Art. When I tuned in Monday morning, my first thought was that Marc must be taking the day off. (I hadn't read any of the blogs). When I tuned in this morning, I saw that you were out again I decided to do some research. I was so unhappy to see that due to ratings, that you had been moved. I loved you and Virginia together. As do many people. I can't believe that the show would make such a rash decision over ratings. Well, I hope that they will be happy...they will be losing more of their precious "Ratings". I will no longer be watching Awake in the mornings. Unfortunately, my husband wins this round. Guess we'll be watching Channel 5 with Jen and Art. So sorry you were treated so poorly. If you go to another network, I'll be watching! Keep your chin up, and know that you'll be missed:)

Well, Marc, we know you're becoming a reporter on the beat, but with all the comments from your fans, and your blog we do not know "WHY"? If this move is to your benefit and you wanted to leave this anchor spot, then more power to you. But if you were moved out by the powers that be, then shame on them. AWAKE is history for us. We like all the folks on Channel 4 but you were the big dog. We will be watching another station, with much regret.
