I don't know about you, but having to hear about the bad economy, job losses and crime non stop..isn't my ideal way to start the day. Of course we need to know what's going on in the world, but there are still tons of topics and interesting stories that can be discussed along with the serious stuff.

I've seen some pretty amazing video through the years, but this one may top all of them. What in the world was this woman thinking? If she was trying to commit suicide, was this really the way anyone would want to go? I had fun as always despite the nasty, cold weather and the loss. My day started at 3 AM in the newsroom to get ready for the big show. Marc and I got to Busch Stadium around 4:30 and then we went live from 5 to 7 from the third baseline side.

Okay, you know that annoying person in the office who is always happy no matter what? No matter if their job is boring, or the staff was told they have to work the weekend or if they have to stand out in two hours of freezing temps and act happy on live tv....
