The one year I have no intention of going to Mardi Gras, I go and have the best time I've ever had in the almost six years I have been here. I learned the secret. First, get a good meal at a Benton Park restaurant where a shuttle is being offered. Then, let the shuttle drop you in the heart of Soulard and go to a party. Don't just radomly roam the streets.
